It was nice to note that the country singer Taylor Swift has donated $100,000 to build a new playground for kids in Tennessee at a place where she went to school. Swift has handed over the money to officials with the hope that they would use it to benefit those who have been struggling in the wake of the 2010 floods which swept through Hendersonville, Contactmusic reported.
But to set the record right her business manager has suggested the funds will go towards updating the Kids Kingdom play area, as well as the city's volleyball courts. According to reports, the old playground is expected to be torn down and rebuilt as a new facility in early 2011.
