The English film, television and theatre actress Carey Mulligan (born on 28 May 1985) gained widespread recognition for playing the lead role of Jenny in An Education (2009). She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress, a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role and an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance.
